Marilyn & Madame B

You wait 6+ months for something to happen, and then two things seem to happen simultaneously! Anybody who has seen Sophie's Insta will see that she has done a (online only, I think) Monroe themed photoshoot for Harpers Bazaar, to mark what would have been Marilyn's 100th birthday. I will put a picture from the shoot somewhere on the website, just not sure of the most appropriate place as it isn't a 'hardcopy' covershoot AFAIK. And then, she did a reading of "Madame B" at a Zara Kids & Caramel London event in London somewhere yesterday. Diary pages to be updated in due course.

Carol Concerts

Sophie attended not one, but two, Carols events this week. Aside from the aforementioned Place 2Be one on Thursday (no photos from it yet, and the webmaster didn't attend this time), she was then at the Lady Garden Family event yesterday in London. Photo of the latter will be on the diary pages at some point, but I am hoping something from the first concert surfaces first.

Claridges Event

Sophie was out on the town last night, attending the unveiling of the Claridge's Xmas tree in London. Photo on the diary pages soon.

Place2Be Carols Concert

Perfect Magazine event

After months of seemingly hibernating, Sophie was out on the town again on Wednesday night - this time at the "Katie Grand & Perfect Magazine X De Beers X Frieze Masters" dinner. Picture should be on the diary pages within the next few days.

Christie's event

As ever, anybody who follows Sophie on Instagram will know about this, but in case you didn't, Sophie attended the "20th and 21st Century Art" do in London on Monday. A picture of Sophie, and not one shown on her Insta, is now on the diary pages.

Anybody who follows Sophie on Instagram will be aware that she did another of the "Madame B" Puppet show things at the Charleston Festival yesterday. As expected, no photos of it online (yet) and as I wasn't there, nothing from the webmaster either - but it will get added to the diary pages at some point when I finally give up looking for an accompanying image. Those pages have been updated recently to show a picture of Sophie from last year's "Sunday Times Style" 20th Anniversary party - an event that has hitherto not been mentioned on this site, as I found out about it weeks after it happened! A recent-ish "STS" magazine included an image of Sophie from the event, and so the Mag-ography page is also now updated. Meanwhile, the Books page now also includes an entry for the paperback reissue of "The Old Bones".

Book news

The paperback version of "The Old Bones" is due for release in the UK on 1st May.
